How was your dinner Bushie?  Did you have scrambled eggs as planned?

I live in Tulsa to be close to my parents, but far enough that they don't feel the urge to invite themselves over everyday.  I am free to be my own person by living 2 hours away.

Ah, so the truth comes out.  You're afraid that your parents smother you too much, and don't want them to "feel the urge to invite themselves over everyday".  This seems to be of a piece your moving back to Oklahoma from Utah because your father told you to, and showing up for all those family dinners because your parents expected it of you.

You don't want the people who are supporting you to be around all that much!?

I know you're eating in tonight, but you've been eating out a lot. Out of curiosity, who is paying for those meals, and is there an agreed-upon daily limit while you're looking for work?

There's no real set limit, they just want me to be somewhat frugal.  I realize I haven't been, but that's in part why I ate in last night.

This may be a day mixed with job searching and naps.  For some reason, I am feeling quite nauseous this morning.  While walking into the dentist office yesterday, I had to walk through the medical wing where I see my regular doctor.  Of course, since the flu is widespread and particularly nasty this year there were people violently giving up their lungs and even though I walked as fast as I could, I'm wondering if I caught a flying bug.  This could be an interesting day.

Bushie, are you still choosing to let the scale do the talking?

You left out the best part, King:

I'll get back on the challenge tomorrow.  I did nothing wrong at dinner.  I don't feel bad at all.  Plus, King, it's Friday.  It's no fun to eat healthy on weekends.  I wanted to enjoy my Friday supper with what I wanted to eat and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.  If you don't like it, then shut up and let me live my life.  I am still following the challenges you set forth.  Yes, I had a slip up tonight, but I have not completely blown it.  Just do not mock me.  I have done NOTHING worthy of mocking.  If you mock me, you're the idiot, not me.

That section of Update is a really great sequence worth reading again. Crabby Boss, Ice Cream/Fries Challenge, Northrop Grummann flashback, and culminating with the Strawberry Cliffhanger.

Yes, Bushie will obviously be heading to Jim's fried chicken for a bucket, with some fried taters on the side. He would just get some campbell's chicken noodle soup as most sick Americans do, but that would require assistance, given his illness.

I'm not going to have spaghetti, because I just don't feel like it.  I've got chills (no fever) and major muscle aches.  Just any kind of little breeze causes excruciating pain.  I haven't gone anywhere today.  I did take one nap this morning.  So, tonight, I am just going to eat light in the house.  I'm not going anywhere, because the breeze is too chilly out side even with a coat on.  I may just have crackers and cheese tonight.  I really don't feel like much more than that.  I need something, but it's gotta be light because the nausea could easily come back.

Bushie, do you think you might have the stomach flu? I had it a couple weeks ago, it was terrible. I couldn't even drink water or eat anything without vomiting. For 3 days in a row I ate/drank nothing besides chicken noodle soup, saltines, and ginger ale. It was even worse than the regular flu.

I haven't thrown up except once this morning and even then it wasn't real bad.  I'm not cramping at all, just muscle aches and pains.  If this is anything, it would be closer to the regular flu instead of the stomach flu, but without the fever, I'm not sure it's either.  It may be just a quick bug.

Do you plan on trying to defeat this stomach flu without drinking water?

I have not had any water today.  Conversation stops there.  I don't feel like being yelled at over not drinking water today.

Ever since I got on my new diet, all my health problems have vanished. The occasional headaches and stomach pains are gone. Take me as a testament to what you need to do to change your life.

What I gathered from the last post on the last page: he isn't in the mood for spaghetti because he has the chills. Instead, he'll have crackers and cheese.

Yep.

Yep.

You know what the standard doctor's advice is for a flu-like illness: don't exert too much energy by trying to cook, avoid water, and get plenty of salt!

Someone did warn him on his Facebook that he could have the flu, "which is deadly."
