There would be no reason for a Southern third party, and South Carolina likely wouldn't vote for the third party unless Rice suddenly came out in favor of abortion on demand.

This article mentions her interview and she says she is "mildly pro-choice". So I think there would be a reason for a third party that is Pro-Life.
