I would have voted Conservative til 1935, PC til 2004 (even in '93), and grudgingly CPC now.

I like Tommy Douglas a lot, he was a cool guy. Did you know that he's Keifer Sutherland's Grandfather. I agree with Al, likley with everything, cause I liked Chretien, crazy b*st*rd.

From all the Canadian elections I have researched and studied, I would have to say that it probably would have been:

1968; Trudeau
1972: Trudeau
1974: Trudeau
1979: Trudeau
1980: Trudeau
1984: Mulroney
1988: Mulroney
1993: Chretien
1997: Chretien
2000: Chretien
2004: Martin

I'm divided between NDP and LP. The Canadian Alliance is definately my LEAST favourite option!!

As for Mulroney, he was idiot. Just as bad as Thatcher and Reagan!

CCF/NDP unless there's some tactical reason to vote for an acceptable Liberal or the NDP candidate is very strange. Labour where available before 1935, otherwise Liberal.

CCF or Libs. MAYBE NDP at a provincial level or if the libs are going to be wiped out.

The CCF is the old name for the NDP.

I'd probably vote Progressive Conservative or Liberal.  I would certainly not vote for the SoCreds.

If I were in the Conservatives or the PCs I'd probably be with the Blue Tories on classically liberal economics and Red Tories on social policies, at least I understand these terms.  I'd rather be a Liberal because I despise conservatism outside America, because it usually means something very illiberal and unlibertarian.  But the Liberals were socialist-leaning, so I don't know.

I'd probably just whine a lot.
