Getting tired of Obama-style Presidential results?

Year      Connecticut        USA

2012    59-41 Obama      51-47 Obama
2008    61-39 Obama      53-46 Obama
2004    54-44 Kerry         51-48 Bush
2000    56-38 Gore          48-48 split between popular and electoral vote

Hillary Clinton will need to win at least 55% of the popular vote in Connecticut to have a real chance of wining nationwide.

But I thought Connecticut would be in play after emailgate.

She's under 60 percent, which is worse than Obama did in 2008, so clearly we need Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren to improve upon Obama's performance.

Considering that CT polling had Obama ahead by only 10 percent in 2012, I predict Hillary will win by about 30 percent this time. I'll accept my accolades in a year and a half. Tongue

LBJ got nearly 68% of the vote in Connecticut in 1964. Obama in 2008 was nearly a max-out.
