It's quite simple really. The Atlas Republicans support Hillary Clinton, and the Atlas left wingers support Ted Cruz. Wink

Oh, and we also have socialists for Christie and right wingers for Sanders.

I'm backing Clinton for now because I think she's my party's best shot at keeping the White House.

If Bolton doesn't run, I will support Graham and then Bush if that is not an option. I could also live with Walker as the nominee.

If the Republican nominee is Cruz, Huckabee, Santorum, or Perry - I will vote for Clinton in the general.

Bernie Sanders in the primaries, and probably whoever the Democratic candidate is in the general. I probably won't vote third party unless there's a non-perrenial third party candidate like Gary Johnson (I won't be voting for some random activist).

I am an independent voter.  I am registered as a Republican, but I am a very, very nominal Republican.

If I continue my GOP party registration, I will probably vote for Rand Paul as an anti-war vote.

If I switch to the Democrats, it would be only to support Bernie Sanders (if he runs).

I am a union shop steward, so I will likely support the Democratic nominee, but it's not certain.

When Brian Schweitzer declines to run (I know he technically has but so has Lizzie and people say her), likely Rand Paul or Chris Christie. I'd like to see how it plays out at the time. I like Walker, but I've already grown tired of him. The rest are pretty terrible.

Lol it's a possibility. He's the only pro-SSM neoconservative who is considering to my knowledge, so I'll stick with him until he says no or is otherwise out of the race.

He has?  I'm not aware of Schweitzer having explicitly ruled it out.  Instead, what happened is that he stopped doing interviews, and disappeared off the face of the Earth, following his "gaydar" comments.

The last we heard from Schweitzer on 2016, to my knowledge, were these comments from last summer:

This is more than a week old, but here's a lengthy story on Schweitzer that covers the political wreckage left by his controversial comments on Cantor and Feinstein.  He also talks about Hillary Clinton and 2016:

If the Democratic Party does not nominate either Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren, I will likely vote for the Green Party nominee. Even if I don't end up supporting the Green, I will never vote for Hillary Clinton nor any Republican. I am not a fan of neoliberal economics or the growing police state and will not vote for people who embrace these forces.

Stein and Sanders to an extent, though neither have the resources to compete.
I'm registered Dem so if Sanders or O'Malley challenge Hillary I'll do the primary.
Probably voting PSL, SP or Green in the general/state elections.

Rand Paul in the primary, any GOP candidate except Cruz, Santorum or Huckabee because their claims of "conservatism" just want to expand government and force you to live under THEIR morals, whether or not I agree with their morals is moot to me, because I don't believe government should legislate what you do with your body or bedroom. We need real leadership, reduce the debt, cut the deficit, bring a balanced budget, and finally bring our troops home.

If either Cruz, Santorum or Huckabee somehow got the nod, I'd vote Gary Johnson (Libertarian Party) because I will DEFINITELY not vote for Clinton.

Rand Paul is my top choice. His foreign policy is preferable to most candidates and he is one of the only running that might actually restore some of the privacy rights lost under Bush/Obama.

If he doesn't win the nomination though there is no other that I could support on the Republican side. On the democrats, Sanders would get a look from me as I think he might also restore some of those lost liberties. No way in the universe I vote for Clinton since she, like, Bush, is the worst of both sides.

As I have little hope that Paul or Sanders could win their nominations, I will likely vote 3rd party. At this point I am not sure who that may be or even which third party it would be. It could be Libertarian, Constitution, or even Green as they all have at least some overlap with my views and generally all oppose these meaningless wars and violations of our privacy.

I am pretty flexible on a lot of the economic and social positions. Privacy rights and foreign policy take priority. Although I would prefer someone fiscally responsible. That is, if they are going to spend the money then they better raise taxes to pay for it.

I'm for Hillary because I trust her judgment for SCOTUS nominations, national security, and protecting our domestic interests.

I actually think SCOTUS nominations are going to be the biggest thing at stake this election. If Clinton wins, we're likely to see the court flip back to the liberals and possibly halt the series of maddening Supreme Court decisions.

Probably Clinton, unless a sane Republican somehow wins the nomination.
