Biggest problem for GOP is that Walker is a bad fit for Florida and Jeb is an even worse fit for Ohio. None of them are a good fit for Virginia.

Yes. GOP has candidates that can flip a certain swing state, but none that can flip multiple.

Looking at the crosstabs it seems they changed the weighting in PA from D+8 in the last poll to D and R being even. That explains the huge shift in numbers, and why Paul moved 20 points (also Florida went from D+5 to D+3).

So PA isn't in play and there's not much evidence emailgate really affected things at all.

Obama's approvals seemed artificially low in all the states. 40-42%. His national numbers right now are 46-48% and even in the 2014 exit poll it was 46% in PA.

The sample sizes and partisan makeup and margins of error on these polls are probably enough to throw them out for gross inaccuracy.

Woohoo! #hillaryisntinevitable

Now, in her place, we can elect...a Republican! Yes! Gut healthcare! Ban abortion! Tax cuts for the rich! Thank god we'll be able to forward real progressive goals, since that warmongering corporate bitch will be out of the way.

But seriously, you have to really become desperate to use what is obviously a junk poll to forward your "Clinton is vulnerable, let's nominate a 'TRUE' progressive" narrative.

I think we are all missing the bigger picture. These are sub-Obama 12 numbers, a whole year and a half before the election and before most get the bigger picture on the GOPers

You say that like it's a good thing

This Republican is against all those things. Now how would you feel if I said all Democrats were tax-to-death gun grabbers who think throwing money at something solves problems?

That's neat-o that you oppose all those things, so let me know when you gain traction as a Presidential candidate, because I can assure you I did not make that post under the impression that there was a chance Free Bird from Atlas Forum was the Republican that defeated Hillary.

No, they're still quite solidly on, considering very few people have said she was inevitable in the general election. Unless you're implying some random Pennsylvania poll will get O'Malley to surge beyond 0%. If so, good luck with that.

By the way, if you want to cherrypick, this poll also means Ohio is likely D. Smiley

Other parts of the poll that were released later last week….marijuana polls better than all 2016 candidates in all three states:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2015/04/06/in-key-swing-states-weed-is-polling-better-than-all-potential-2016-candidates/

What would a recreational marijuana vs. Hillary Clinton electoral map look like?

These polls are great with Med majuana, against the GOP field, with Hilary, I am looking forward to her winning the key state of FL.

Governor Rick Scott will not let Florida decide the 2016 election in favor of the Democratic nominee.  The role of Florida in the 2000 Presidential election can be repeated in 2016. You can trust that nobody is going to call Florida until some other necessary swing state that the Republican nominee must win (Colorado, Ohio, or Virginia) is called for the Democrat... or Florida runs out of votes.

This is Hillary Clinton, not Al Gore. She would do anything to win this election, do you really think she would let Rick Scott steal the election from her?

Indeed. The small time Florida Criminal better watch who he's dealing with, lest he end up like Vince Foster.
