According to politics1.....

In P2008 news, Senator John Kerry (D-MA) is upset with retiring Senator Mark Dayton (D-MN) for already endorsing Hillary Clinton as "the next great President of the United States" at a recent state party dinner. According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, an angry Kerry confronted Dayton on the Senate floor days later and demanded to know "What are you doing endorsing my 2008 Presidential opponent?"

Kerry's arrogance is truly something to behold. Remarkable.

Memo to Mr. Kerry: Looking at the election returns, I see you did worse than Al Gore. This put you in second place on the list of former nominees the democrats may consider. There will also be substantial new blood campaigning, and you should therefore give up your presidential aspirations.

Kerry actually said this on the senate floor???  What a bitter old fool!

Anyhow, who cares what Mark Dayton thinks.  He's retiring next year anyway.

I first thought of Dayton, OH when I saw the title.  Come of think of it, Kerry's probably mad at the city too.

So did I. Cheesy

Though Kerry wouldn't have much reason to be mad with Dayton.  Montgomery actually gave him a majority this time, as opposed to a plurality for Gore.

Really?  Must have been Kerry's military record playing slightly better than Gore's in W-P, etc.

2004 was Kerry's to lose and boy did he screw it up.  Why did he pick john edwards?Huh? i prediced the day he picked edwards, that he wouldn't cary one southern state.  Kerry should have picked Bob Graham.  Edwards would've lost reelection anyway.  he will be abad candidate in 08 if he runs.

Graham, Gephardt, or Bayh.  Three better choices.
