On June 7–8, 2015, the leaders of the Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, the US and the EU are meeting in Schloss Elmau, a five-star hotel in the Bavarian town of Krün. It's the second time that Russia hasn't been invited.
The key issues will be:
Global economy,
Foreign, security and development policy,
Protection of the marine environment, marine governance and resource efficiency,
Antibiotic resistance, neglected and poverty-related diseases, and Ebola,
Retail and supply chain standards,
Empowering self-employed women and women in vocational training,
Energy security, including as part of the Rome G7 Energy Initiative.

Yesterday, the foreign ministers of the seven countries already met at the further end of Germany: in Lübeck, Schleswig-Holstein, on the Baltic Sea, accompanied by extreme left-wing protests.

I wonder what the protesters are planning to do in Krün, which is already surrounded by multiple, huge security zones. The Bavarian police is not known to say "please" and "thank you"...
The next meetings are set to take place in Hamburg on May 11–12, 2015, for the energy ministers and in Dresden on May 27–29, 2015, for the finance ministers.
