Mitch's time, just like Schweizer was to run for office at the present moment. Not seizing that chance to run for gov, leaving Dems with a weaker opponent, he has blown his chance.

Katrina was the Landrieu political moment. Mary, having lost a winnable race, the family dynasty appears to have ended.
