my favorites are two that are almost as good in my opinion:
pokemon johto
getter ban ban

but in your opinion what would be the best opening of all openings

Pokemon Johto, Pokemon Indigo League and Pokemon Advanced Battle would be my favorite dub themes.

I haven't watched enough of the Original Japanese edition to talk much about their music...

As for the games, the themes for Cynthia (The Sinnoh Champion), Groudon/Kyogre, Ho-oh (HeartGold/SoulSilver), Arceus (Diamond, Pearl and Platinum), Ghetsis (Villain in Black and White) and Colress (Secondary villain in Black and White 2) are my favorite themes from the games.
