Literally same reasoning as EG, but I gave it 3 stars. Most likely because Wyoming was rated so poorly and it can't be better than a slightly warmer and somewhat significantly more beautiful state. Close between 3/4. (Wyoming was a 5)

Voted 1 star on accident, meant to hit 3. It's kind of like a better Wyoming.

Four stars. Beautiful geography, friendly people, and Missoula is an awesome town and I have very fond memories of my weekend trip there from a few years ago. That said... I have not been anywhere in MT other than Missoula and the stretch of I-90 that takes you there. I have only heard good things, though. One star knocked off of what would otherwise be a five-star rating since I have limited exposure to the state, but I have nothing but positive feelings towards the state and people of Montana.

I was going to vote 3, but I voted 5 to even it out.

Looking at the overall results, ONLY on Atlas would Wyoming almost lose to Delaware because "MUH blue state."
