For whatever reasons, Nixon isn't seeking a second term. Lindsay runs a largely media-driven campaign, mobilizing anti-war and youth voters. Meanwhile, the Republicans, hoping to capitalize on blue collar dissatisfaction with the damned hippies, nominate NYC trade union president Peter J. Brennan (who in real life would later serve as a Nixon/Ford Labor Secretary). Lindsay, whose record with labor is not stellar, is lambasted as a "limousine liberal", while a number of members on Lindsay's team start trying to make overtures to Republicans by using anti-labor rhetoric. How does this turn out? Who wins, and who would you vote for? Craft the candidates as seems appropriate.
