Tie between Brooke and Kerry, gave it to Kerry since he's a Democrat and almost defeated Bush.

Warren, easily, but Ted Kennedy was pretty great as well, and I have a soft spot for Mo Cowan, as short as his tenure was.

Probably Warren. Kerry is a dullard, his replacement is a Huh, Kennedy was a lying murderer, republicans are always awful (normal), Tsongas was a Moderate Hero and the other two were appointees.

Brooke, with Saltonstall and Brown close behind.

Ted Kennedy deserves credit, though, for his longevity and active leadership.

Warren, with honourable mentions to Kerry and Brooke. Not voting for a murderer.

How can people vote for Warren over Kennedy?

He abolished the poll tax, kept us out of Vietnam after 1970, was a voice for progressive politics globally, fought for universal healthcare, got HIV/AIDs funding in the 1980s when it was major, introduced disability legislation, increased the minimum wage and arguably helped Obama win in 2008. The man was a liberal lion, in the sense that no-one has achieved that much in the Senate.

What's Warren done? Yeah she's good at raising issues and getting us all talking about them but she doesn't hold a candle to ted

One word: Chappaquiddick.

That's why liberals are voting for Warren, even though Kennedy is the most accomplished of the group by far. A lot of people really can't stomach his actions.
