I think if Labour stood two candidates in this election, both would get in. There's just no-one currently running as a Labour candidate at the moment - for various reasons.

Yeah, I'd even say we have the votes to get three in (at a stretch) There's a massive recruitment and activity problem-most likely because its summer

They still are. It's just that literally every single Laborite that's active in the game is holding higher office in the NE.

That's why I'm not seeking re-election - about a month into this assembly term, I travel to Uganda for a month.

If there are no Labour candidates near the close of nominations, I'll stand to ensure that there's a balance in the assembly - and I'll resign just before I leave for Uganda (to allow someone who will be around for that period to have a seat).

I could run again as Labor's candidate, and I'm confident I could get re-elected, but I just don't want to right now. I'm tired of doing Assembly work for awhile. It's a job for new people to get their feet wet and get some experience. I was a Representative in the First Assembly and I've been in various Assemblies since then. It's nice to go to it and try to do some work again, but my heart just isn't in it right now.

There has been a correction to the results - apologies for any confusion that the previously published results may have caused.

I believe there was a rejected ballot that affected the results - looking at the total number of votes.

neither answer is correct.

twistory, along with autumnleaf and registered southerner gekkonidae, is in fact a sockpuppet of the esteemed federalist candidate for vice president, jomcar.

Autumn Leaf, Gekkonidae and Twistory are not socks. Ask a mod if you don't believe me Smiley

And yes, one vote for Twistory was not counted.

No problem, I understand that. You should post on this board, the mods usually answer there.
