You'd see two strands of reaction. The obvious "she's collapsing, 2008 redux" narrative will be loudest first. But you'll also hear pundits writing off New Hampshire as basically being another home state for Bernie, considering its proximity to New Hampshire, and talking about how the Clinton machine would still to be favored to wrap things up in South Carolina. So a short, furious panic followed by downplaying and dismissal.

As a Democrat Hillary can expect the liberal East coast media types to fall in behind her. But if she loses, it will be a whatever moment. But I think there will be a collective sigh of relief offered that Hillary is not in the White House.

A temporary blip in Hillary's inevitability.

Nobody cares if you only win with 48% of the vote or whatever.  Come on.

And, sure, caucuses will benefit Sanders.  But, he's not going to win Iowa.  Hillary Clinton's campaign will totally outclass Sanders' campaign.  That really matters in Iowa because you need to know how to manipulate sub-caucus rules and maximize delegates through small rural caucuses.

They'll dismiss Iowa as irrelevant and continue to treat Clinton as inevitable for the most part.

Much like most of Atlas, they'll be writing her political obituary similar to 08 and will spend days discussing polls out of New Hampshire that either show Bernie leading or "not far behind," since they are obviously tone deaf when it comes to New Hampshire polling. Complete redo of 2008: "The inevitable candidate falters," "Clinton campaign in distress mode following poor Iowa Caucus performance," etc.

I can't help but to LOL at all these blue avatars who think the media loves Hillary "just because she's a Democrat." Since you all have had your head in the sand, let me bring you up to speed: the media hates the Clintons.
