After a hard fought and acrimonious Primary season, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton wins the nomination of the Democratic Party. Upon doing so, she announces that she is in actuality a Goldwater supporter who made it her life's mission to hijack the party of LBJ and move it to the right of the GOP. She selects Texas Senator Ted Cruz as her running mate, and campaigns on a staunchly conservative platform.

Meanwhile, billionaire Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination only to reveal himself as a radical leftist. He chooses Bernie Sanders as his running mate, and runs on an unabashedly socialist platform.

Who wins? Discuss with maps.

I think her husband and Obama sort of beat her to the hijacking.

Clinton/Cruz would likely win every state in an election with low turnout.

You may posit one if you wish, although I'm not sure that such a ticket would be able to gain ballot access in many states by that point.
