How to undo Virginiá's image link notifications?

Remember when Virginiá substituted image link notifications for images posted, after Dave was flooded with copyright infringement claims?

Does anybody know how to reverse that process?

In an old post from 2017 I posted several maps from Dave's election map vault.

I tried anything to render them visible again, but nothing works.
Strangely, they reappear if I quote my post.

This was done for a reason and won't be undone.
