What does one make of moderates favoring Trump over Bush? Is it just due to name recognition of Trump vis a vis the others, other than Bush, as to whom it suggests a personal disaffection with him at the moment, and thus a desire to seek out alternatives?

I do think Trump does better with "low information voters" who don't know that many of the other candidates and are stuck with the familiar names.  In the case of ideology though, he seems to do about equally well across the ideological spectrum within the GOP.  But Walker does better with "conservatives" than "moderates", hence this result.

This is something of a tangent, but I don't suppose you've read Ross Douthat's blog post on trying to explain the appeal of Trump?:

60%-23% isn't that impressive considering this is Hillary's home state. Tongue

There's also the usual racial gap, in which Sanders's support is overwhelmingly white.  He can only do so well in states with a non-negligible # of blacks.
