I am tired of people calling me un-American too and saying that I am unpatriotic. Waving the American flag does not deter terrorism.

Hawks are by definition more patriotic than doves.

Perhaps, but the definition of 'patriotic' is rather foggy in some quarters. Hawks often confuse it for nationalism, for instance.

Good point

nationalism - Devotion to the interests or culture of one's nation; The belief that nations will benefit from acting independently rather than collectively

patriotism - Love of and devotion to one's country
