All five names have been mentioned as a possible vp pick. Lindsey Graham has worked with Hillary on many things in the seante while Colin Powell has been approached by the democratic party.

Barack Obama would provide charisma and could be president in 2016 if Hilary was to last two terms. Bill Richardson would help her on foreign policy and help with the hispanic vote. While Wesley Clark has always remained a clinton friend.

If I had my pick I'd go with Bill Richardson.  A smart guy with the experience to step in as President in case of an emergency.  He would also help with both the Hispanic vote and the vote in the Southwest (which, frankly, I think the Dems should be going after harder than the Southeast).

I too would go with Richardson.  She needs someone with Executive experience and time in office to help balance her out.  Obama is too "fresh" and "Hollywood-ish" and would sink her ticket.  Powell would not accept.  Clarke isn't Executive quality, but might do better as a cabinet position.

You think Clark would make a good defense secretary?

None of these are particularly spectacular.

No, cause of the investigations from his NATO past, but maybe VA affairs or something else.  He's a good manager, just not the best of leaders.

Powell would easily be the best choice- evidence that the right has gone too far, become too ideological.

Realistically, Richardson is the best choice of those who would definitely accept.

Richardson or Bayh would get her the most votes.

Geographically and ideology-wise.  Richarson would make the most sence.

Lindsey Graham?Huh  What are you smoking and why are you not sharing!?  Just because they work on a couple of bills together doesn't mean they're going to run on the same ticket.

Stranger things may have happened though.

On paper, Richardson is the best because he's from the southwest and is perceived as a moderate.

Obama is way too new.  People are in love with the idea of a Barack Obama, but nobody really knows him yet, so I think it's extremely premature to even talk about him.  And what makes you think he could be president if she lasts 8 years?  There's no basis to make that statement.

Cause it isn't that difficult a job.  But certainly I agree he is not a good VP choice.

You know, Hillary has also worked with Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich on various stuff.  Do you think they'll be taking up an offer for a VP spot?
