With this, assuming there is only one more poll like CNN said, Gilmore is officially not making the debate.

Also, Fiorina only two points ahead of Christie and Kasich means that things are looking good for all three (Fiorina/Christie/Kasich) to be invited to the "grownups" debate under the new rules, meaning 11 people in that debate.

Ladies and Gents, we have a top tier: Trump, Carson, Cruz.

Bush is still in the top tier. His post-debate national average is higher than Cruz and he is also leading Cruz and Carson in NH, while Cruz is ahead of Bush in IA.  And of course Bush has all that money!

The person who has dropped out of the top tier for sure is Walker.

Trump is at 59% favorable / 29% unfavorable among Republican voters.  In June, the same pollster had him at 20% favorable / 55% unfavorable.

Firstly, is Carson being underestimated?
Secondly, it's hilarious that in the head to head matchups Trump beats all but Cruz and Carson by 13+ points. According to 538, those plus Trump are the non-establishment tea partiers.

I wouldn't call Trump a tea party candidate, if anything he gets his own circle.  'Right wing populist' intersecting with the Tea Party and Christian Conservative circles.

But yeah, Cruz and Carson are proving that you have to fight fire with fire.  In order to stop an extremist, you need an extremist.

They're proving the exact opposite of that.  They're the only ones not criticizing Donald Trump.  Everyone else is blasting Trump while Cruz and Carson are riding the same wave that Trump is riding.

You misunderstood, that's exactly what I'm saying.  In order to stop Trump, it seems like you need someone else who's anti-establishment.
