The decision to extend the voting period is a political stunt by the Prime Minister to focus on his utterly useless waste of time of a motion. Three quarters of Socialist MPs voted within the original allotted time period, the exact same percentage as the amount of Conservatives who showed up to vote. Why such a big deal being made out of this motion out of all things? It has no important ramifications.
