I believe it will be Rand Paul. Why you ask me? Because Rand Paul is dissatisfied with running against the likes of Donald Trump, because there's no way for him to shine and express himself as a candidate against all the publicity that Trump has been getting.

Also, it would be wiser if he ran for reelection as a senator than continuing to run for president. Because he could wait for the next election, where he could have a better jump start.

I still haven't heard any media confirmation that Paul has transferred the $250,000 he promised the Kentucky GOP to run the caucus.  If he doesn't do that by next week Friday (two days after the debate), then the caucus is cancelled, and Paul will have to choose between the presidential and Senate race.  That's why I'm wondering if he's waiting to see if he has some kind of game changing debate performance, with the possibility of dropping out shortly thereafter if he doesn't.

Rand Paul.  He's not having an impact on this race.

Santorum. He has practically no money, and I think he'd be perfectly content throwing his support behind Huckabee.

Gilmore made the mistake of withdrawing before voting last time. He needs the validation of receiving votes so it won't be him. I'd have to guess Paul as the networks have quite an incentive to get back to 10 primetimers. More time for Trump. Surely McConnell can convince him.

Gilmore is going to stick it out, and why not? He doesn't have to do anything and gets to be "Presidential Candidate Jim Gilmore." Rand Paul is likely, and Christie and Pataki might follow.

It will be Jindal, followed by Paul. Santorum will drop out at the last minute before Iowa, I suspect, and endorse Ted Cruz.

I'm going with Jindal.

He might have a political career waiting for him after this, and once the kiddie debates are over with he'll be getting zero exposure.

Graham is probably going to withdraw soon, his plan to sabotage Paul's campaign now being redundant.

I doubt it will be Gilmore since he apparently hasn't started campaigning yet.

My guess is Pataki. He's going nowhere.

Voted Pataki. Really no one cares about him.

I think Gilmore will stay a little while longer just for the lulz.

Gilmore and Pataki will probably wait awhile more because I can't imagine they have much (if any) overhead, so money isn't an issue.

Paul needs to drop out to run for Senate.

Cristie needs to drop out because he's just not doing well.

I would say the same of Jindal except he's going after Trump now so he obviously intends to stay in the game.

Rick Santorum has no money and unlike Pataki and Gilmore, is actually trying to run a real campaign. So he'll have to drop out soon.

I went with Cristie though, because those were the loudest rumors.

Yes, this is an elegant solution to the problem of not having any movie.  Chafee only does campaign events within driving distance of his house.  Gilmore only does campaign events within his house.

If Rand Paul doesn't have a miraculously good debate performance, he'll probably decline to give any money to the state GOP, and simply work towards running for re-election to the Senate.

If Rand does pull off a miracle next Wednesday night, then it will almost certainly be one of Christie, Santorum, or Jindal. Santorum and Jindal at the very least have the hope of doing well enough in CNN's early debate to be the next Carly Fiorina. I would've thought both of them too hopelessly boring to pull it off, but after Carson's rise in the polls, I think anything is possible.

I think all the Democratic candidates are going to stay in until at least the first debate. The non-Hillary candidates are all banking on a rise in the polls once they get to make their case on the debate stage.

I never said it would work, just that Gilmore is deluded enough to think it will work longer after others have bailed.

Voted for Jindal as the next to go, though I could also see Pataki or Santorum too.
