Who is the most popular statewide elected official in each state? Out of the governor and either senator. In Indiana it would have been Pence up until the religous freedom fiasco. Im not sure about now.

One of Rhode Island's Senators (Reed or Whitehouse), maybe Congressman Langevin.

In Washington it's almost certainly Patty Murray.

In Indiana Mitch Daniels is the most popular politician, despite people from out if state thinking its Evan Bayh. The man won downtown Indy in 2008. I would guess Coats and Donnely are both relatively anonymous and Pence is well known but polarizing.

Wisconsin former living politicians would have to be Herb Kohl. Based on polling the favorite current politician would be Russ Feingold.

In Massachusetts it might be Charlie Baker, unfortunately. But I really don't know.

Probably John Kasich, although before he announced his run for POTUS it was Sen. Rob Portman.

MS is probably Roger Wicker, Governor Bryant close behind though

2014 did permanent damage to Thad's reputation unfortunately

Governor Gary Herbert is probably the most popular in Utah, mainly because he's an inoffensive nonentity that has some semblance of sanity.

People don't like Bayh? What about Lugar? People over 14 all still know that name

Governor Wolf, maybe?  He's polling in the low 40s right now.  I'm guessing it's all downhill from there.

Don't think Wicker is most popular, especially among the Tea Party and pro-flag folks.

You are right about Thad, which is sad because I've always been a big fan of his (though I don't always agree with his positions).

VA: Mark Warner.

NC: Burr, but only because Tillis and McCrory are quite unpopular.

Bayh and Lugar are both still popular, just not as much as Daniels. Bayh is the patron saint of Indiana democrats, and Lugar is respected among all but disliked strongly by the conservative base.

In New Jersey, I would say the most popular statewide politician would be either Cory Booker or Steven Fulop. When you factor in national politicians, Hillary Clinton is easily the most popular one in New Jersey.
