Mr. Speaker,

The job of the opposition is to oppose the government when needed; but whenever the government proposes thoughtful, good legislation on its own, this is not needed. I can congratulate the Deputy Prime Minister on crafting this legislation, and can also announce the support of the Official Opposition for this bill.
