Well, they have pineapples, so they're almost definitely in the New World. And I know Honduras has a big textile industry, so I'll go with them.

Dominica? I guess it could be a Carribean Island, rather than Central America. Obviously not Jamaica or Cuba, but a less diversified country.

Laos.

They've been attempting to make the most of their sublime insignificance and become the "water tower of Asia" by exporting hydropower to China and other neighbors with growing economies. I sometimes worry Ethiopia will end up going down the same path, considering the vast (in relative) sums of money it is currently spending on building dams, whose power generation capabilities are being touted not so much for industrialisation or electrification as they for for their foreign-exchange generation potential from export.

Yeah, I was going to say Paraguay too since I know that electricity is a big export and the country is poor and fairly small, but the lack of agricultural exports mean that it isn't.

The reasons why I can think that a small poor country doesn't have many agricultural exports is because it either has very poor terrain for it or because every agricultural product is used for selfsubsistance.

I suggest we either look at very poor african countries near rivers or whatnot or at some of the small poor countries high up in the mountains like Nepal or Bhutan.

Frankly I have no idea what countries export a lot of electric power.

I was quite suprised when I peeked. No big section for rhum despite Haiti's reputation and history.
