There are going to be many ads referring to Hillary putting the Pubs at the top of her enemies list. My sense is that she said it jocularly, but the Pubs aren't laughing (maybe smiling at the unforced error and its exploitability, but not laughing).
Her audience didn't take it as a joke, though.

We aren't laughing. It's a very ugly thing to say. Typical Hillary. But good negative ad material.

Sort of like when Obama said last year: I'm not on the ballot this fall. But make no mistake, these policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them. That line was used to sink many democrats.
This is a fact-based response, and I look forwards to attempts to bury it.

Pretty major mistake for such an experienced campaign team, but it might have been left in to seem more authentic.
