The world of politics was stunned this weekend when active players re-elected themselves to continue the game they were playing. Said one; 'hopefully 100 percent of active government members will be re-elected next time.'

A universal parliament would be a great idea IMO. If we need some sort of bar for entry into parliment maybe when players sign up they don't join Parliment until an "intake" of new players at the end of the month and the start a month can be treated as a new session

Fun fact: Your party would have won a seat had you submitted a list.

Why didn't your party contest the election?

That'd be boring. We just be voting Yes or No on bills endlessly. Elections make the game fun.

Why didn't your party contest the election?

Speaking as the other half of the VA, I basically had no idea there was another election, because I think it was only talked about in the Parliament thread and in the threads for the different parties, and why would I check the threads of organizations I'm not a part of?

I think we're back to a familiar problem i.e. sh!tty electoral administration. I think a formal Notice of Poll should be published and sent to either all registered voters or to all party admins.

I think that's an excellent idea.

I agree. There was an announcement about the election but it could have been mote pronounced, sure

I think there's nothing wrong with finding mistakes or errors and fixing them for the enjoyment of everyone. However, as I said at the conclusion of the last election parties can serve as effective opposition forces outside of Parliament too and I wouod encourage you all to do that until the next election, whenever that may be.
