Two people cannot lead if one is ahead by 1%. In fact,  you made up the headline. And no,  statistical tie is not a thing.
Anyway,  Clinton leads Carson by 2% and Trump by 15%.

I have seen his posts before.  I think the guy is serious.  Hence, to the ignore list, he goes.

Feels like recent polls have been uncommonly consistent and those Trump, Carson and Rubio numbers keep repeating (though Cruz feels slightly lower and Bush slightly higher than other recents). That Fiorina number given the strong consensus she won the September debate continues to dispel the idea that debates are game-changers. Not to mention their ratings keep falling.

What's different about this poll compared to other recent ones isn't that Carson is ahead by 1 point. That's not really that different than the others. What's different is that Cruz and Bush are tied.

3 months ago Marist said they weren't going to do primary polling because they didn't want to be part of the debate criteria, which they felt was inappropriate.
http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/2015/08/marist-suspends-gop-polling-ahead-of-fox-debate-211675

Maybe they timed this poll to come out too late for the FOX Biz criteria and too early to be factored into the criteria for the CNN December debate

BTW, they have a point. If Fox Biz used this poll then it would change their debate. Christie and Huckabee would be on the main stage and Pataki would be at the Kiddie table and Carson would get the #1 podium.

Who leads among…?

Republicans: Carson
Independents: Trump
support Tea Party: Trump
do not support Tea Party: Carson
moderate: Trump
conservative: Carson
very conservative: Carson
household income less than $50k: Trump
household income more than $50k: Carson
not a college graduate: Trump
college graduate: Carson
under age 45: Carson
over age 45: Carson/Trump tie
married: Carson
not married: Trump

Again, as in other polls, the most relevant variable in determining GOP primary support seems to be education, with a huge gap between those with and without a college degree.

college graduate:
Carson 33%
Trump 13%

not a college graduate:
Trump 31%
Carson 17%

The Marist poll has one more bit of bad news for Bush. They asked "Regardless of whom you may support, would you say that the more you hear about [CANDIDATE] the more you like [him/her], or the more you hear about [CANDIDATE] the less you like [him/her].

Results (among Republicans and Republican leaners)...

More / Less
Carson   67/20   +47
Rubio   58/27   +21
Cruz   51/31   +20
Fioina   46/34   +12
Trump   44/49   -5
Bush   32/58   -26

As for Carson, note this was before all the bad press at the end of last week.
