My theory is that Bernie Sanders has gained from hanging out with black rappers who sing about  a bitches and "niggas in the club."  I predict that black people will increasingly flock to Sanders side, because of this hanging out with rappers factor.

What.

Killer Mike sings about "bitches" and "niggas in the club"?

Yes. (Well, half right - he doesn't "sing".) Did you even know who Killer Mike was before he endorsed Sanders and became the most important person evar?

Killer Mike has made many political rap songs.

Who are Overtime Politics, why are they polling my state, and why is Sanders supposedly doing so good in a state completely in the Clinton-Trump mold?

It will probably be Sanders's 4th best state on Super Tuesday, after VT, CO, and MN.

That's not really saying much... he'll lose the remaining states by 20-40 points.

And what about Trump...?

Trump could win a majority of the vote here on Super Tuesday.

I would argue this, but unfortunately, I believe my state is just dumb enough to get a Trump win.

If they really want it to be quick, it's simple:

1. Age
2. Gender
3. Race
4. Income
5. Democratic or Republican primary?
6. Their actual candidate choice

6 questions. Should be able to be finished rather quickly.

131 emails, so it probably was't just Atlas, unless one of you e-mailed him 100 times.

Anybody else willing to bet that r/sandersforpresident had something to do with this?

I don't see why he's so scared, to be honest. It's not like anybody's going to send him anthrax.

I expected Missouri to be somewhat close due to it being almost entirely white outside of its most urban areas, but this close?!? Wow, Go Sanders!

Careful, you're entering jfern territory!

Are all Hillary supporters obnoxious hacks?

I've met obnoxious Hillary supporters and obnoxious Bernie supporters. However, Atlas has many, many more obnoxious Hillary supporters than obnoxious Bernie supporters.

Results for Michigan Republicans:

Trump - 33%
Rubio - 18%
Cruz - 17%
Carson - 7%
Bush - 5%
Fiorina - 3%
Christie - 3%
Paul - 3%
Kasich - 1%

Trump led with both males and females, although he had a much bigger lead with males. Rubio led with 18-30, Trump had a major lead with every other age demographic. Trump led in all racial demographics except Asians, where he tied with Rubio, and Hispanics, where Rubio got over 50%. Ted Cruz led among Republicans with an income under $10,000; Trump led every other income group.

I think the Republican poll might be legit. My guess is that they polled 26 Hispanics, about 12 Asians, and 8 "Native American/Other"s, judging from the percentage numbers.

Why do you guys still take these polls with any degree of seriousness? Case in point, according to overtime, the Democratic primary electorate is majority male.

In a perfect world, not only would nobody take Overtime with any degree of seriousness, nobody would take you with any degree of seriousness.

It seems that not a single reputable media outlet or polling site has covered these blog posts from 'Fred'.   And now evev /politics at Reddit won't allow them to be posted (categorizing them as an "unacceptable source").
https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/41v5yq/clinton_holds_3_point_lead_over_sanders_in/

I do not understand why anyone would pay attention to them until they were vetted. I do not understand why these numbers are being put into the Atlas poll db.

Because there's virtually no harm in doing so and there's no evidence that they're fraudulent? Besides, they mostly poll highly underpolled states leaving the choice either potentially flawed data or no data.

Plus, we do let in Gravis.

I've been reading this StatesPoll.com... it's cute, very Atlasy.

Yeah. The creator of the website joined Atlas, made a few inane topics about Trump potentially winning California and Connecticut, then left shortly after.

Of note this is their stated methodology:

So where do those posted demographic sub samples in their "polls" come from? BY THEIR OWN CLAIM THEY DO NOT ASK FOR THIS INFORMATION.

I'm pretty sure that was from before they started asking for demographics.
