The rumors of Trump's demise in Iowa are overstated! Trump will take Cruz down yet.

This poll conducted from December 4 - 13 doesn't capture Ted Cruz's surge.  He received Vander Plaats endorsement on December 10

Trump was always going to take him down. Even if Cruz wins Iowa, so long as it's not a 10%+ blowout, and Trump wins New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada, it's goodbye Cruz. Smiley

Favorability Ratings
Ben Carson: 74-20 (+54)
Ted Cruz: 72-18 (+54)
Marco Rubio: 71-18 (+53)
Carly Fiorina: 59-22 (+37)
Mike Huckabee: 59-28 (+31)
Donald Trump: 55-39 (+16)
Rick Santorum: 46-33 (+13)
Chris Christie: 49-40 (+9)
Rand Paul: 43-42 (+1)
Jeb Bush: 41-51 (-10)
John Kasich: 24-38 (-14)
Jim Gilmore: 2-18 (-16)
George Pataki: 8-33 (-25)
Lindsey Graham: 16-49 (-33)

For the most part, these are pretty close to the favorability numbers found in the recent DMR poll. The most conspicuous differences are the numbers for Rick Santorum and Rand Paul, who had -1 and -13 net favorability, respectively, in that poll. Fiorina, Huckabee, and Kasich also perform noticeably better here than there.

Cruz has officially moved into the lead in Iowa. The 3-poll average on the atlas page shows this as well.
