Christ on a cracker, lol.

And overall a majority of Republicans support a ban on Muslims and 27% of them support the closing down of mosques. A bunch of freedom-loving fellas indeed.

The reason Trump can't be stopped is because his supporters are defined by what he says, not the other way around.

There is nothing Trump can say to lose support because the people who support him will change their mind to match his first.

The head-to-heads are interesting. Most GOPers agree that they don't want Trump in the end.

Closing down of mosques is an idea of nutjobs. The growing numbers of those who want to "ban a religion" are actually those calling for a temporary ban on Muslims from foreign countries coming via visas. Not reasonable or really possible, but still has logic at its roots during the crisis right now although I disagree that it's the solution. For those that do call for Islam to be banned, they obviously haven't read the constitution they boast so proudly about.

It's interesting that in a two way, Rubio beats Trump, but gets smashed by Cruz in Iowa. That suggests that Cruz has indeed rounded up a majority of the evangelicals in Iowa, as well as a majority of the tea party base among those relatively few who politically active enough to show up at caucuses, leaving Carson with some Evangelicals, and Rubio with the moderates and a small share of the other groups, but that doubts about Trump cause Rubio to cut more deeply into the other groups.

The establishment will need to start forcing some dropouts. Best chance to stop Trump is to shrink the field.

Obviously. Unless Cruz is considered acceptable as the alternative, which he certainly is not. But that can wait until after NH, assuming that collectively the establishment candidates in NH get a majority of the vote.

Agree. He'll be almost unstoppable if that isn't the case.

There's no way the establishment candidates will get a majority in New Hampshire. They probably won't get a majority anywhere.

This sums it up pretty well. Trump has stolen all of Rush's dittoheads.

"No way" seems a bit of a claim to me. How can one be sure of anything when to comes to the current insanity? Anyway, I certainly hope that you're wrong.
