For reasons beyond me Condiliar presently has bipartisan support. Were she to run, once people were reminded of her role in lying to justify the illegal invasion of Iraq, I suspect she would not even do as well as the generic Republican in California.

LOL at Gravis

As much as I'd love electing a Republican from California, if it were to happen next year I still wouldn't be convinced that this poll was correct. Gravis sucks.

Rice would gather a strong coalition of ~65% of whites, 40% of blacks, and about ~45-50% of Hispanics. I wish she would run. Newsom and Brown are too strong for her to beat them.

65% of whites in California is impossible for any Republican considering that the white electorate is more liberal than anywhere else. The other numbers are not possible either due to polarization.

I love election analysts who saw Obama's record numbers with black voters and said to themselves "Oh, black people vote for black candidates automatically". Like they actually think black people are that stupid.
