Yes, he'd be "too old", but he's also too old now and that doesn't seem to be a factor.

He wouldn't run, but people would try to draft him.

Well I don't want to say he's too old, but unless he's the nominee this year we won't be able to tell if it's a factor or not.  Perception and ability is more relevant.  For example, Reagan never came across as someone who was too old or had lived past the life expectancy of his time.  If Clinton loses, I don't see him running again though.

Sanders on Election Day would be older than Reagan was on his final day of office.

I thought Sanders was 71 making him 75/76 for the 2021 inauguration where Reagan was 77 when he left office?

He'll probably be dead before then, so no.

Not if he has universal healthcare.

Sanders will be 75 in November 2016. 79 in 2020.

She's not gonna lose to Trump, but if Rubio is nominee, she might. But, Sanders wont be nominee.

No way we would have a better field.

Literally any other candidate (besides Obama were he eligible to run again) would probably be losing to Sanders right now. He'd start with a massive base and nobody else in the party would have anywhere near the stature he does.

I don't know where this myth comes from that Sanders is only gaining traction because Hillary is a weak candidate. Even after Biden received months of media fawning/puff pieces (while Clinton was simultaneously receiving endless negative press), he still trailed both of them.

Clinton has answered numerous Benghazi questions, and stood up to Gowdy, as Shaheen made that clear in her endorsement of Clinton. Sanders is benefitting from that. But, Clinton should win against Wallstreet Trump & state dept for FBI will releaae all emails after election.

He wouldn't run, he'd be too old Tongue. Seriously, though, I really do think he would be too old. A viable presidential campaign is very stressful and I really do not think he could pull it off at 78+ years old. I'm not even sure if he would want to, either. I know that I wouldn't be voting for any 78 year old in a primary. At least not until we have some magical anti-aging drugs that make 78 the new 48!
