My Civics teacher said that Bill Clinton was the only President not to have any millitary service. I think I already disproved Jefferson, but which other President's have not served in any form of the military?

I need research. I don't think most of the pre-Jackson era Presidents had millitary service. John Tyler? The 1850's Presidents are also unlikely. Did Abe Lincoln ever serve in the millitary? Andrew Johnson? I think most of the Presidents of the late 1800's were veterans of some form. I think Wilson, Harding, Coolidge and Hoover never served in the military. I've already foind FDR did not. Truman? Ford?

For my list it all came from a book  "Facts About the Presidents" and my own memory.

Lincoln saw little action. He was elected a captain. So he was in the millitary.
