I have a weird feeling that Cruz might barely edge out TRUMP here.

This was Pre-Debate too. Imagine after the debate. Cruz may lead now.

I would guess so. What will be interesting is that SC registration is done in terms of voting in the GOP or Democratic Primaries. People may be able to decide to vote in one or the other but someone who is not registered cannot register to vote for this primary now.

If Kasich finishes last / behind Carson in SC, he can kiss away any chance of being the "establishment favorite" candidate.

Probably a Cruz internal, so that he can get all the anti Trump votes.

I'm praying this is true, but it would run contrary to all of the other polls that showed Trump up by fifteen or twenty points. I'll wait until we get some more data to believe this.

Well considering Cruz had over 2,000 people at a rally a couple days ago and the ground game they say is better than Iowa, I wouldn't be surprised if he won. I want to see what their turnout models are because they were supposedly right in IA and NH

This poll seems about as credible as the one leaked to us by marty's twin brother.

Indeed. Mike Murphy will very soon have trouble getting a job as a MAILMAN, much less anything in his field after the disasterous campaign he's run at Jeb's RIGHT TO RISE SuperPac.

Cruz should be winning South Carolina, but despite its religiosity, there are lots of Establishment GOP types that go to church and vote for Jeb! and the like.

When Trump loses, I'll believe he isn't the frontrunner.  Not until then.

I'm not really liking the numbers, but at least Marco isn't doing well.

Did not vote for Trump does not equal anti-Trump. That is a common misconception - Trump's ceiling is probably at least 50% if he's getting 35% among a variety of options.

I mean there is another poll (though also from an unnamed pollster) out right now showing TRUMP at 46. Don't know why this one is getting more attention.
