Since so many here think he's guaranteed double digits or even over 20% if he runs and is guaranteed to be the first third party candidate in over 50 years to win states, what message and platform will he run on to accomplish that? Do you expect him to have massive success by attacking the Republican candidate on guns but saying that Hillary Clinton is too hard on Wall Street and the 1%?

Offer $1000 to each and every person who sends him a picture of their ballot with his name selected?

I'm a sensible moderate/independent compared to these two extremists and I've "gotten things done" as a businessman and as a mayor.

Of course, he'd at best play spoiler and elect the Republican.

If that's his whole platform he wouldn't even 1% and would be a non-factor.

There's no chance of him running if Clinton gets the Democratic nomination.

The only scenario where Bloomberg would run is if it is Trump vs Sanders. His message could simply be "Moderates from all sides, coalesce around me". Even then, I doubt that he could win.

In an election with mainstream candidates (e.g. Kasich vs Clinton) he has no place, although he could play spoiler.

Any British-politics junkies out there: Would Bloomberg seem to be a good fit into the Liberal Democrat Party?

Keep the madmen out. Assuming it is Trump vs. Sanders, this would be a fairly persuasive argument.

He gave a speech endorsing Cameron at the party conference in 2012, so highly unlikely.
