Attempting to link Hillary to Trump is a novel idea, but I don't know if Latinos in Nevada will buy it.

Rove's strong support for Sanders should tell Democrats everything they need to know.

I know I shouldn't be surprised by anything that happens this election cycle anymore but I just watched a single ad that simultaneously helps the candidates in each party who are blowing the whistle on big donors ruining democracy. And it was paid for by big donors put together by Karl Rove.

Yeah. That he's an idiot. Or would you like to take that up with President Romney?

Look at what McCaskill did in MO, put resources to ensure you get the competition you want.

McCaskill attacked Todd Akin to make sure he won the primary. Following your logic, this means that Rove hopes Hillary wins because he knows she'd be a weak candidate. Wink

If Rove wanted that then he would air ads saying Clinton is too liberal, not linking her to TRUMP.

Democratic primary voters might be gullible, but they'd never buy the absurd idea that Hillary is liberal. Tongue

Of course, just like Gore would've been no different than W.

You know what I've found is that really the onus is on the candidate. If Hillary refuses to realistically and legitimately acknowledge and fight for liberals, then she'll lose them. If she's going to run to the center in a general, what twisted thinking is it to assume that she's 'earned' the progressive and far left vote?

A moderate is different from a far-rightist. Doesn't make him/her a liberal.

Voting against the Brady bill makes you not be a liberal.

Or voting to deregulate derivatives. Or supporting the F-35 boondoggle.
Or supporting the bombing of Yugoslavia.

P.S. Hey jfern, you know who else regularly talks with Kissinger? Obama
And you know who else? John Kerry.

1)LOL, is that the best defense you can mount for your idol? Call me back when you have some real arguments to make.

2)I doubt Hillary is BFF with Kissinger. I don't imagine they go shopping panties or to the movies together.

Those are all joke arguments. Bernie says he opposes the F-35 program, but just wanted the jobs in Vermont rather than Florida. Only Barbara Lee voted against Afghanistan, and no Americans died in the former Yugoslavia.  And Hillary and Kissinger are close friends.

Telling that Serbian lives matter less than American ones. Why don't you go support Ted Cruz instead?

This is an attempt by one Party, now nearly dominant, to control the opposition.

A controlled opposition is how things are done in China, and how things used to be done in East Germany. Beware!

It will backfire. I bet Rove would have preferred to face Obama in 2008 too.

This year is about rejection of the establishment and disgust with career politicians: that's why you see the parallel phenomena of Sanders on the Left and Trump on the Right. People are fed up with the system, and Hillary, like Jeb Bush, embodies the system. Add to that, Hillary's email scandal has seriously damaged her electability by confirming doubts about her that people already held: that she's corrupt and untrustworthy. There's also the likelihood that we haven't seen the end of it, and that details will continue to leak out well into the fall. Plus who knows what other skeletons could be in her closet. Remember that John Edwards, the White Male, was seen by many as the safe choice in 2008, and in the summer of that year, we all heaved a big sigh of relief that we didn't go with the safe option.

Hillary isn't particularly charismatic, and doesn't come across as genuine or likable, no matter how hard she tries. Rove should be careful what he wishes for, because he just might get it.
