Seems like an Obama-Clinton rally is in order.

“Ultimately I will probably have an opinion on it....But for now I think it’s important for Democratic voters to express themselves and for the candidates to be run through the paces.”

Ok, so?

You can make as many of these posts as you like, but he's not going to endorse. Whatever helps you sleep at night though.

I think this is saying, "I probably will have a preference, but I'll wait until the outcome is fairly clear".

I read it to mean if it plays out like how he wants it, he'll let it continues, but if his non-preferred candidate is gaining, he would throw his support behind his preferred candidate.

Put another way, Obama wants Hillary to win the damn thing herself so he doesn't have to be the one to piss off Sanders supporters.

Good, he should endorse Clinton as early as possible.

He should wait until May or so before making the endorsement -as much as I want Hillary to lead us to a third (or maybe even fourth) Obama term, I want her to earn it.

And I don't just mean it in terms of the delegate count....

I've said it many times, and I'll say it again: Obama is not going to leave protecting his legacy in the hands of an elderly socialist.

What do you guys think he cares more about? "Decorum", or stopping Republicans from destroying or repealing everything he did over the past 7 years?

I don't think Obama is too stupid to understand general election polls.

He's certainly smart enough to remember the ones that showed him losing 48 states to McCain.

Nope, he had 280 EV compared to 276 for Hillary. I'm sure he noted that he was the stronger in the general election.

That might be relevant if it was October 2014, and Bernie was polling really badly because no one knew who he was.

I watched the press conference. He was subtly endorsing Hillary through the entire thing, although I didn't really get the impression that he was going to make a formal endorsement.

I highly doubt that he'll endorse until the outcome is clear. Maybe if Clinton really does clean Sanders' clock in March, to the point where the math is virtually impossible for Sanders, he'll endorse Clinton just to try and avoid dragging out the inevitable. If there's still uncertainty, though, he won't.

Having his DOJ not indict her is endorsement enough...
