I keep hearing that Sanders thinks he's going to win here.

It's going to be tough, but there is still 15 days until Michigan votes. Lot can happen.

Michigan is whiter than Nevada, and Clinton is ahead anyway.

Leading Sanders by more than he did her in New Hampshire.

No. Michigan does not have "a lot" of black people.

I mean, yes, we definitely have a fair concentration from the eastern side of the state.

We have the 16th largest concentration out of all fifty states.

Detroit?

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results/epolls/#MIDEM
23% black in 2008, so more black than the first 3 states so far.

Detroit is not a state. I knew you were gonna pretend Michigan is Detroit.
And Latinos were 1% in Michigan. Clinton Won Latinos in Nevada, unless you are parroting the myth that Bernie did.

Who said Detroit was a state? Got reading comprehension problems? Some people forget that one of the blackest cities in the US is in Michigan.

So 34 states have a larger concentration? Thank you.

Your post consisted of one word : Detroit. You left out the rest of Michigan. Don't cherry-pick.

You mean less, yes, 34 states are less black.

Actually, Flint, MI ranks as another big black city. All of the geographical concentration makes voter outreach/GOTV much easier.

.....What?? This is ridiculous.

What are you trying to prove? That post means 34 states have a smaller concentration.

Yes, the split of votes among white and black voters matches the split that occurred in NV almost to a tee.

Michigan also has a large and growing asian (muslim) population. It will be interesting to see if they come out for Clinton.

I would guess that white (Democratic) voters in Michigan are more similar to those in Nevada than in New Hampshire, yeah.

I'm tempted to say that Sanders is experiencing some kind of a setback in polling, that started a few days before NV and is still going on. If he doesn't pick it up quick, he's toast.

If Clinton splits whites like Nevada then there are more than enough blacks to give her a double-digit victory.

There's a bit of hope for Sanders here, if not to win MI then to make it close. He needs to if he wants to survive early-mid March.
