Wasn't he the guy who was throwing a fit calling for Trump to get out of the race immediately after Iowa? Lol.

He's having a such a hard time, such a dopey guy! Sasse is crying all the time! Disgusting.

Trump is showing how radical these conservatives are - the biggest criticism of TRUMP by Republicans running against him is that he doesn't want people DYING IN THE STREETS thanks to a lack of healthcare.

Let's assume that's true - a majority of Republican voters are willing to go along with him, that much is clear.

If everyone is willing to buy that a majority of the Republican Party is radical, authoritarian, and racist, so will I.

With the exception of Baker, these are all odious pricks who have spent their careers ruining the country.

Baker reiterates - he's not voting for Trump or Clinton in November

Cuban Miamians

Ros-Lehtinen and Curbelo seem to be dead set against both Trump and Clinton. Diaz-Ballart will, "under some conditions", vote for the "Republican nominee".

http://www.miamiherald.com/news/politics-government/election/article75713677.html

That is reflective of how conservative each of their districts are - Ros-Lehtinen and Curbelo are in swing districts, while Diaz Balart can survive taking a hit for potentially supporting Trump.

Obviously Dold is a very particular case due to how Democratic his district is, but the backbone of the Republican majority is relatively moderate suburban districts that have also been some of Trump's weakest areas. I think a lot of vulnerable house republicans are going to follow his model. I predict the next person to just say they won't vote for Trump is Barbara Comstock.

Trump pledging to arrest Roy Moore might be the one way to get my vote.

http://www.wvgazettemail.com/news-politics/20160617/after-45-years-danny-jones-leaves-republican-party

The Mayor of Charleston, West Virginia Danny Jones has left the Republican Party citing the rise of Trump and the State Legislators insistence on "religious freedom" type bills. Jones has said he will vote for Gary Johnson in the fall.

WV seems like one of the few places this is a bad move politically.

Then again I assume that once WV's realignment is complete, you'll have Democrats in Charleston and maybe the eastern panhandle and Republicans everywhere else.

Jones is not running for re-election, which is probably why he is being this vocal about his change. He's previously been on the opposing side of West Virginia conservatives at various times.

Dent's probably gonna vote for Clinton in the privacy of the booth. The guy said that there should be a bipartisan commission to select a speaker after Boehner left.

Damn...

this is slightly different than random Republican moderates endorsing Clinton. Humphrey is a has been, but that dude is staunchly conservative. If the hard right-wing sit out, who the hell does this guy have left?

Humphrey has moderated over the years. He supported Kasich heavily in the primaries and at the convention. Before that, he literally praised Edward Snowden.

I didn't say Humphrey was a conventional conservative. Just staunchly so.

Kasich got some pretty right wing endorsements dude - remember Dick Armey, aka one of the originators of the Tea Party, endorsed Kasich.

Collins ain't switchin parties

the fact that genuinely loyal party solider Susan Collins isn't voting for Trump is pretty troubling.

99.9% chance that Collins votes for Clinton in the privacy of the voting booth
But Maxwell told me that Collins is a loyal GOP foot soldier.

I stand by that - it's a bigger statement about how much of a disaster Trump is than a statement on how MODERATE AND INDEPENDENT Collins is.

He's lost it. How in the world can you even justify this? At least have the decency to write in Cruz.

This RINO deserves to be hunted.

Also, as noted in the Evan McMullin thread, at least one person on my #NeverTrump list has endorsed McMullin:

I'm sure Senator Voldemort will have tons of sway with voters.

a solid endorsement, from a pretty decent Republican all things considered (stood up to Ollie North when the party nominated the wacko for Senate).

Schwarz is also fairly moderate (he was beat in a primary because he was insufficiently conservative by Tim Wahlberg)- but I really wouldn't describe Trump as a conventional conservative to where we could dismiss criticism of Republican opposition because they're "RINOs".

Most of these names aren't particularly surprising, maybe with an exception of Mike Parker, who I din't really perceive as a moderate Republican.

this might be the best possible scenario - regular Republicans not voting for Trump, Trumpicans not voting for Republicans lower on the ballot.
