Doyle just guaranteed that 95%+ of Republicans will never vote for him.

Yeah, politically a pretty dumb move on his part.  He's going to have a fight on his hands as it is according to poll numbers that I've been seeing.  Most people respect Reagan if they don't agree with him, and Doyle vetoing this will come across as petty and partisan.

This is a year old. It only passed the legislature because the Republicans control both branches.
