No, I doubt she really did something unlawful.

No, The FBI director is not going to risk the possibility of having to report to Donald Trump.

Anyone know when they will complete the investigation?

A grand jury operates in secret, so we won't even know if/when this might happen. For all we know, they may have already impaneled a federal grand jury to look into things.

Per Rule 6(e)(2)(B) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure:

Things seem to be progressing. We're bound to get some indication about movement, given that in a related matter, U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan set an April 12 deadline for the parties to litigate a detailed investigative plan for the lawsuit over public records brought by Judicial Watch. Sullivan has suggested from the bench that he might at some point order the department to subpoena Clinton and Abedin to return all emails related to Clinton’s private account, not just those records previously deemed "work-related". We'll just have to stay tuned.

No worry needed. He would report to Bernie Sanders instead.

1) the FBI can't directly indict people

2) Conservatives banking on a Hillary indictment are really putting a lot of confidence in the DOJ that they usually dislike

Yes. And magical unicorns will rain from the sky, Sarah Palin will be installed as president, and Ron Paul will make anime real.

That would be really an ironic development after she just practically secured the nomination.

I'm growing less and less confident that she will.  We've heard nothing from the FBI in recent weeks which leads me to believe they're either sitting on their hands or don't have a real case against her.  So, I'm going to vote no.

I think if there was any real smoking guns she would have already been indicted while there was a chance that another Democratic candidate could have jumped in the race.

Anyone know when they will complete the investigation?

It will be completed around 2048 as Chelsea is finishing her second term as POTUS.

Around the same time the whitey tape comes out and the other shoe drops on Whitewater.

That's kind of what I'm thinking.  Things could still change, but I'm tending to agree with the left's view on this.

Washington is a small town. If an indictment was possible, the the bigwigs in the Dem establishment would have got another candidate in the race, yet Biden declined to run as did every Dem Senator (almost all of whom have endorsed Clinton). And I think Obama would know, and he has been quietly (and now it seems even less quietly) backing her.

Maybe someone is the State Dept. ends up cutting a deal for a misdemeanor charge over classified info without the markings, maybe there is some report that is leaked saying the server was a security risk.  But criminal charges against the presumptive (or actual) Democratic party nominee being issued by the Obama DOJ? No, not going to happen.

Of course not, Democrats protect their own. Even when they should be modeling an orange jumpsuit like Hillary should be.

To all you Hillary supporters. Have you set up your own personal e-mail server? And would you have done so to communicate official government documents? I doubt any of you would be that stupid.

If there was even a reasonable chance, Biden would have likely run and Obama wouldn't have done everything short of actually endorsing her.

Also, the fact that this thing continues to persist shows a) people's issues with "context" and comprehension b) lack of knowledge of legal practices c) desperation.

No, never, and no, she has not committed a criminal offense.  The rumor that she has keeps her poll numbers down, but if she had, she wouldn't be running.

I predict that there will be a scathing report that will not be complimentary to her.  But nothing really bad will come of it, other than she might not win the election.  Most of this "Hillary for Jail" campaign is the most unbelievable wishful thinking I have seen in this cycle.
