From the man himself:

MORMONS HATE LIARS

Then why are they supporting TED CRUZ of all people, who is so cravenly dishonest that it makes Joesph McCarthy's skin crawl?

Politifact has Mr. Cruz's statements at 65% false

Politifact has Mr. Cruz's statements at 65% false

For balance, they rated 78% of Trump's statements as varying degrees of false, with an additional 14% as "half-true." So, Utahns should really be supporting Kasich Tongue

Buzzfeed's correspondent on Mormon Things McKay Coppins put out a column on Trump and Mormons tonight.

Mormon Voters Really Don’t Like Donald Trump. Here’s Why.

The issues include Immigration and being too anti-Muslim.

Looks like Cruz will most likely get all of Utah's delegates if this keeps up.

Utah's general election filing deadline isn't until August, and requires only 1000 signatures statewide, so whichever Third Party #NeverTrump True Conservative candidate ends up running will presumably be on the ballot there in November.  (Imagine if it was Romney.  Tongue )

That would be the first time since 1968 that a third party wins a state.

I collected the votes for every Mormon majority county in Idaho (Utah is majority Mormon, so I thought it could tell us what's coming)

Cruz: 25,181 (51.6%)
Rubio: 12,731 (26.1%)
Trump: 8,197 (16.8%)
Kasich: 2,695 (5.5%)

Percentages are of the four candidates only. It ends up pretty reflective of the poll actually. So, pretty much all the Rubio vote is transferring to Kasich and Trump is staying in third. It'll be even worse for Trump since its a caucus, too.

If all or most of the Rubio vote going to Kasich is at all reflected in non-Mormon populations--which I know good and well it might very well not be--then there are actually quite a few places where that helps Trump, although that doesn't mean losing Utah by this much doesn't indeed put him several dozen delegates further from 1,237.

Kasich seems like he'd have his appeal to the more mainline type of conservative. Although Kasich and Cruz really differ more on tone than actual views.

Bishop Mitt says, "Vote Cruz. So let it be written, so let it be done".

Completely isolated from the rest of the world.

Technically, the Mormon hate for Trump was going on long before Trump's questioning of Romney's Mormon faith. We've hated Trump for a long, long time. Especially after his anti-immigrant, anti-refugee statements were condemned by the LDS Church. And even before that, we didn't like him because he was an obnoxious orange toad.

OK, someone needs to run a Bernie vs. Trump general election poll in Utah so we can see if Bernie actually leads.

TRUMP should focus his campaign on Arizona. Utah is lost time. He won't go anywhere there, unfortunately.

I doubt it. TRUMP will win with ~60%. 35% for Hillary and 5% for third parties.

TRUMP of course isn't enough of a racist for those who are part of a Church that shunned black people until 1978. The LDS make TRUMP look like Mahatma Gandhi when it comes to racism, bigotry and general obnoxiousness.

I think the thought process is to push Cruz under 50% in Utah, get a couple of delegates, but deny him all 40.

The main thing to watch is how much Kasich's support collapses relative to the poll.  Can Cruz hit 60 or even 70?

You mean the church whose second (or third, depending on how you count the President of the Church and his Counselors) highest leadership is nearly half non-American? The church that has more members from outside the US (and many in Latin America from all ethnic groups) than it has US members? That LDS Church?

I mean, yeah, doesn't excuse the pre 1978 doctrine and rhetoric, but since then, we've at least tried to do better. I think Trump has devolved.
