Why did people think Cruz would gain all of Rubio's voters? Cruz isn't exactly more acceptable than Trump.

Polls taken when Rubio was still in the race showed a substantial fraction of them had Cruz as second choice.  Certainly moreso than Trump.  Yet now that Rubio has dropped out, Cruz hasn't actually been able to close the gap with Trump at all.

He's 65, and considering the average lifespan of an American male is around 76, I should be around 25 when the terrible deed is done.

What does "average lifespan" mean though?  The average age of people who are dying right now?  Because maybe another 10 years of medical research will lead to medical breakthroughs that will allow Torie to live well past 100.
