Two thoughts:

-It'd be amazing if Joe made a cameo in Game of Thrones
-Reid was the one that encouraged Obama to run I believe, and we know how that turned out

Agreed with the first point!
As for the second... didn't Reid say a few months ago that the potential Democratic field looks like "an old folk's home"? Seems weird for him to encourage a Warren run in light of that.

Hey Mr. Modern, I just wanted to give a public shout-out to how awesome it is that you spend your time finding and posting all these articles. I wouldn't be nearly as up to date on what is going on in the political world if it wasn't for you and the other awesome posters on this and other threads on the Atlas.

Ah, OK.  He's speaking at the McIntyre-Shaheen fundraising dinner.  I had asked whether any of the potential 2020 candidates might speak at that, but wasn't expecting it to be Biden.  I guess I have to move Biden up a few spots on my "likelihood to run" list.

He does seem to be more active recently. By the way, could you post this list? You're very updated about these 2020 tea leaves, so your assumption could be one of the best we can get at this point.

Kamala Harris wrote the tribute for Elizabeth Warren for the 100 most influential people of the Times.

They've been really cozy before that, as well. I think this, plus Harris' coziness with Booker, could indicate that she's trying to get friendly with influential Senators, thus looking to 2024 or 2028 instead of aiming for 2020?

Kasich is the most blatantly obvious candidate we've had in a long time.

Yeah, just by saying "focused" he surely jumped up in the "who is running" ranking.

So, yeah, Clinton is not running again.

Kaitlan Collins‏ @kaitlancollins
Clinton is asked why she did Goldman Sachs speeches.
HC: "Why do you have Goldman Sachs here?"
Recode: "They paid us."
HC: "They paid me"

I love that.

Jerry brown seems to be making more noise these days.
If he wouldn't be eighty-frigging-three on Inauguration Day I'd be al for him. Should've been the nominee in 1976.

This, and Gov. Brown making noise makes a lot of sense- climate change is a major issue for his state. If he wouldn't be making noise, he'd be failing his constituents. I wish he could become Governor for another term, tbh.

I know it's not really a tea leaf, but apparently the people of Cambridge, Massachusetts are already running Warren for President Tongue
