I mean, Gillibrand is basically EMILY's List if it were a person.

Chris Matthews said he "heard" that Adam Schiff is running for president:

Who in the hell is a potential Adam Schiff voter?

Ugh, reality is trying to copy my TL.

Raimondo for president? Not at all. She's like a female Malloy.

That's why he's retiring - he wants to focus on his presidential campaign

Brown's chances of being the VP pick go way up if a Democrat wins the OH Gov race next year.
Especially since the governor would most likely appoint Tim Ryan, who would be best suited to hold the seat for a significant time rather than simply a temporary, half-term occupant.

He'd actually be a good candidate - I could see myself voting for him in the primary. Democrats don't necessarily need currently serving senators or governors to run. Just look at Mitt Romney.

Why aren't former governors being considered at all? Napolitano, Baldacci, Schweitzer, Lynch, Locke even.

Baldacci? Really? Curious to hear why you think he should be considered

I mean I guess he's a bit blast-from-the-past but he doesn't seem to be outwardly horrible? I know he left office with pretty poor approval ratings, but I get the feeling that he was decently competent.

I like Merkely, but he's quite boring. Reminds me of a progressive Al Gore/John Kerry. Isn't necessarily a bad candidate, but not exciting either. To be honest, if I had to pick, I'd choose Sanders over Merkely. He's at least exciting.

I'm really glad there's finally a fresh, male perspective telling me that sexism is dead in America.

I'm not saying sexism is dead because it's not.. But sexism being the cause of Hillary's defeat? Come on.. The Left has came up with better excuses than that already.

Hillary's defeat was so tight that literally any one of a dozen factors, sexism included, could be identified as the cause.

Sexism is not the most credible argument for her loss

I think it's a very important factor to acknowledge, not pooh-pooh it as "ridiculous leftists." Sexism isn't just "I won't vote for a woman" or "Women have periods and therefore unstable," its also a subconscious changing of standards. Trump was a scandal monster, but he was still not as bad as "Crooked Hillary," who wasn't even tried with any crime.

Hillary had to be an angel and then some in order to be considered adequate, Donald could be a brute and be considered a strong leader.

Anyway, I don't want to relitigate the election.

Jason Kander, John Delaney, and Tulsi Gabbard are headed to Iowa next month.

Tulsi 2020 confirmed

Tulsi's young enough to Harold Stassen her way in the Democratic primaries for the next 50 years. Probably until 2072 or '76.
