Only further proof that the only reason people go to Iowa is when they've lost a bet.

Kirsten Gillibrand tweeted a picture of her new dog, which she has named "Maple".

Which state is known for providing large quantities of maple syrup? Vermont. This is clearly just some sad attempt to win over Sanders voters. Does she think we're stupid? Does she think we won't notice? The truth is out there.

That is one cute ass dog.

Guys... both Maggie Hassan and Kusty go to New Hampshire quite frequently... are they planning something in 2020???!?

They represent New Hampshire, so of course they go to New Hampshire...therefore that joke is idiotic.

Wow, you must be fun at parties.

I know it's not really a tea leaf, but apparently the people of Cambridge, Massachusetts are already running Warren for President Tongue

That story made me love Sherrod Brown even more than I already did. He'd make a great Vice President.

*sigh* I miss the days when I thought Gillibrand would be the best Dem candidate in 2016/2020. How naive I was.

Klobuchar is interesting, though. She strikes me as a 2008 Chris Dodd type; someone who would run just to get their profile up enough to possibly make the VP shortlist.

Willie Geist‏ @WillieGeist
NEW: Sources close to @JohnKasich tell me, after Charlottesville, there is growing sense of "moral imperative" to primary Trump in 2020.

Strongly considering switching my registration to Republican just to vote for Kasich in the primary.
