We have all these people strongly anti-Sanders and Trump. I think we need a unified group against the C-Conspiracy. Cruz and Clinton are triangulating corrupt politicians who have hawkish foreign policy. Both of them are willing to pander as much as they need. Both of them stand for the establishment, with one getting Romney's vote and the Bushes' endorsements and the other being Hillary Clinton. Stand against the establishment. It's as simple as one, two, three or A, B, C.

No, he's a stupid man who ran a campaign in Texas where he appealed to the primary electorate first and then the general Texan electorate. He is now appealing to a Tea Party-libertarian-evangelical coalition. In the general, he will try to unite the Romney 2012 voters, maybe 3-5% more Hispanics, libertarians, and the evangelicals/Tea Partiers in IA, FL, VA, and CO.

Triangulation = / = Electability

I actually unironically agree; the only candidates I REALLY hate are Cruz and Clinton. I love Kasich, I'm okay with Bernie, and I like Trump a little. Cruz and Clinton, I absolutely hate.

I'm inclined to agree, mostly. (Although the only reason I'd be okay with Bernie is because I'd know there'd be no chance of him getting any of his socialist ideas through a GOP held house/senate). Cruz and Clinton represent what people are tired of...

I'm mixed on Cruz. I don't like his political profile or views at all, but at least everyone in the GOP establishment despises him almost as much as they hate Donald Trump. Maybe even more. Their bizarre game plan is to steal the nomination from Donald Trump and THEN from Ted Cruz.

I don't really know what kind of president Ted Cruz would be just because he's not beholden to anyone at all. And considering the miserable state of public policy in our nation, I'd take a total Huh over the devil I know, because we've been getting screwed for decades by devils we know.

Trump and Sanders would have their bad policy not passed, at least. It's not so important their good policy passes, in other words?

I wouldn't take issue with saying that both Cruz and Clinton pander, but the word "triangulation" has a specific meaning, and let's not change that into something else. Cruz may do a lot of things, but triangulation isn't one of them.

My point is that whether or not a policy becomes law rests with the house/senate. A president can spout whatever he/she wants to, but it's up to congress whether anything gets done with that spouting. Hopefully, the congressional folks put in place are able to discern which policies are good and which are bad, and act accordingly.
