The Quebecois are even ruder than the Parisians. The friendliest Francophones are the Cajuns by far.

Louisiana. Quebec has two things I don't like: cold weather and leftists. There's plenty of both of those here in Illinois.

I'd have to pick Quebec because I'd prefer its climate and scenery, although I don't speak any French. Plus, Quebec City looks amazingly beautiful.

Plus most of the lower portion of Louisiana don't have any basements.  That's problematic for you.
