The Quebecois are even ruder than the Parisians. The friendliest Francophones are the Cajuns by far.

Mainers are good people, but Cajuns embody the concept of hospitality.

Louisiana. Quebec has two things I don't like: cold weather and leftists. There's plenty of both of those here in Illinois.

I'd argue that the friendliest Francophones are the Cameroonians. Tongue

Having lived in Quebec, Louisiana.

Isn't everything bilingual by law?

Yes, but Quebec has it's own laws to promote French over English, complete with language police.

I'd have to pick Quebec because I'd prefer its climate and scenery, although I don't speak any French. Plus, Quebec City looks amazingly beautiful.

Louisiana, I have to deal with rude French Canadians coming down as snowbirds every year and acting like they own the place.  I'm sure Quebec I a nice place but too many bad experiences

Florida has some very generous and easy to get travel/residency rules for Canadian snowbirds apparently. Basically as long as you stay less then half of a calendar year you are ok. This allows rude Canadian snowbirds to take the state over from October/November to April every year lol.

We can always tell who the new Canadian arrivals are too. Blinding us in the sunlight with their paper white skin...

Quebec, without a doubt. Montreal is an incredibly cool and cultured city.

The Gulf area is just plain awful in so many ways.

Louisiana due to the lack of a language barrier. Oh, and Popeyes is pretty great.

Quebec, easily.

I prefer a month or two of really cold winter weather and tons of snow to a snake and crocodile-infested swamp state.

Plus most of the lower portion of Louisiana don't have any basements.  That's problematic for you.
